FRASER ISLAND INFORMATION - FRASER ISLAND TOURS & ATTRACTIONS

Fraser Island was listed in the early 1990s as a World Heritage site. Fraser Island is 120 kilometres long and about 15 kilometres wide. It is a unique and stunning natural environment. Fraser is the largest sand island in the world and the only place on the planet where rainforest grows from sand.

The best way to see Fraser is by 4WD touring (there are no paved roads) - you can do a 4WD coach tour, drive yourself in a 4WD or take a private tour with a Fraser Island tour company.
